Words From Past Clients

I’ve been to a few of Will’s workshops so far (3 at the moment, looking forward to a 4th if I can!) and they always exceed my expectations. You definitely learn a lot and come back with a greater appreciation for this passion we all love.

Will always goes the extra mile to ensure we get the best conditions, and his ability to read the weather is nothing short of amazing. Not only is he a great mentor, he is also incredibly humble and an all round top bloke.

I would highly recommend Will’s workshops and would give it more stars if I could.

I have had the privilege of being on 3 workshops with Will – all 3 of them world class. Will has the ability to set aside his own urge to photograph beautiful landscapes and amazing light during the workshop so all the attention is on you, helping you capture that fleeting moment. The flexible itinerary and his diligence in following weather patterns on my Iceland workshop allowed us to see the Northern lights when most of the country was covered in clouds and witness an intense sunset at the famous Bruarfoss.

Even outside the workshop setting, Will has continued to encourage and help grow my skills as a photographer. Always just an email away with helpful advice and critiques of my images. His passion for photography and his clients is second to none. With his help I have gained the confidence to explore more undershot places on my own and share my work on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME. Just finished Will’s 10 day Patagonia Workshop which I fully recommend for any landscape photography enthusiast. Not only did Will provide excellent coaching…he also took us on an amazing travel adventure as he tailored the workshop around the weather ensuring we were always at the best location for the conditions. If you love photography, nature and adventure…this is the workshop for you.

I recently wrapped up my third adventure with Will and would highly recommend his workshops to anyone looking to improve their photography skills while exploring some beautiful landscapes with some like-minded folks.

Will’s work originally caught my eye a few years back when I was just starting to explore instagram, and I instantly appreciated his eye for compelling compositions and natural-looking edits. After yet another vacation where I came home frustrated that my photographs just weren’t doing justice to what I was seeing, I decided to sign up for his Iceland workshop.

I went in without expectations but quickly saw how passionate Will is not only about photography, but also about helping others grow their skills. Will spent time with everyone in the group, getting to know each person’s skill level, and made sure to assist each of us according to our own needs and interests (video, long expo, etc). On top of this, after a week of unfavorable weather, Will (with the remote help of his lovely wife Reneé) arranged to change our itinerary and drove us six hours away to the opposite side of the country to get us in front of an amazing sunset and the first northern lights sighting of the trip.

I wasn’t alone in leaving that trip knowing that I’d join another, which I did–twice (in the Canadian Rockies and New Zealand). On both of these trips, Will’s flexible itinerary and ability to read the weather again got us into place for some epic shoots: moonrise over a mostly frozen Moraine Lake, and a clear shot at the impressive Aoraki Mt. Cook just hours before a storm blew in.

With Will’s help, I’ve been able to push my photography and editing so far beyond where it was when I started, and have done so much faster than I would have on my own. Thanks to his workshops, I’ve seen some really beautiful places and also made some great friends. The experiences alone were worth the trips but being able to improve my art along the way has been a great bonus. Molto bene! Thanks, Will!
