Gale force winds tear across the glacial waters of the often calm Lake Tekapo. Captured during one of my workshops in New Zealand, we opted to shoot handheld in order to move and compose our shots faster. We were only able to fire 1-2 frames at a time before needing to retreat and wipe our gear (and ourselves) from the flying spray of the water. Of all my years visiting this location, these intense conditions are by far the most memorable and enjoyable.
