After finishing up my workshops and travel obligations for the year, as well as relocating to New Zealand with my family, I’ve finally been able to complete the processing of my latest work. Despite today’s high consumption of daily image viewing, I’d rather not let the demands of social media dictate how I shoot and portray the world, so this collection contains photos captured as far back as July.
The majority of these are from Iceland and New Zealand and are a mere a glimpse at some of what I experienced whilst away from home, in these countries that I have a strong connection with.
Looking forward, the next few months will see me immersing myself with family as we settle into our new home in Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland in New Zealand. I will also commence shooting what will no doubt be a life long quest to capture, portray and truly experience the unseen beauty of the South Island.

If you wish to join me next year to some of these locations, please check my workshops page for the limited availabilities that I have left. I’m also taking requests for 2019 here. A quick thank-you to everyone who joined me on a workshop this year, both the new and familiar faces. I look forward to seeing some of you again next year.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. It’s my hope that some of my work may resonate with you in one way or another. May your holiday season be filled with peace. WP
Beautiful photographs Will. Love those moody mountain tops.
Awe inspiring new work Will! Some powerful, fleeting moments captured. Grateful to have been along side for some of these.
Absolutely, perfectly, wonderfully shot
G’day Will,
An absolute beautiful and stunning range of photos. The lighting you have captured in the shots is just breath taking. The various mountains in the mist shots are so full of mood and emotion they are amazing. You should be very proud of your work as I understand the planning and effort that went into a lot of these spectacular photos.
I totally agree with all these comments this work is unbelievably gorgeous stunning outstanding shots
Beautiful!
Absolutely drop dead beautiful!!!!
All the very best for your move to Te Anau. Do yourself a favour and look up a dear friend of mine, Andy (Andris) Apse in Okarito, near Franz Josef.
Hey Will! What a great variety of shots, all having their something special! So much talent mate! I must say that ‘Aspire’ particularly caught my attention, maybe because the story behind it reminded me of a similar midnight photo adventure (with a much less beautiful outcome 😉 ), alone in the silent mountains of NZ back in 2013 (was Mt Cook), while my wife and kid were fast asleep… it was my first time capturing the milky way too. I hope you guys enjoy your new home! Cheers
Francois
Just beautiful work, Will. The way you capture clouds and light dancing with mountain peaks is my favourite. Seriously mesmerized by those photos.
Hey Will, some absolutely stunning photos in there. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you’re loving your new home. We’re pretty lucky here in NZ 🙂
