I’ve gazed up at the night sky in many parts of the world but the clarity in the sky here above Doubtful Sound is the clearest I’ve beheld. No words can really explain or justify the experience and I’m thankful to have shared these skies with some avid photographers. I captured this in the early hours of the morning, with the setting moon casting the soft light on the mountain peaks. Doubtful Sound is nicknamed the ‘Sound Of Silence’ and I can certainly understand why.
