Hi everyone. Here, at the start of 2019, I’m finally able to share what I’ve been working on the past 5 months, since my last release of work. Toward the end of 2018 I was back in Iceland and I also made my first trip to Lofoten in Norway (running workshops). Through the summer at home in New Zealand I also spent some time on foot and in the air exploring some more of this land I love. The result is a collection consisting of over 40 new photos, which reflect my fond experiences on these journeys, some of which I’m grateful to have shared with friends and workshop clients. I was even able to have my son join me on his first ever camping trip, with hopefully many more to come.
I’ve never felt more compelled and at home behind the lens, with each one of these photographs reflecting a brief moment in time that really stirred up something inside of me. In this crazy world we live in, my time outdoors with my camera brings me a sense of belonging within this grand design, a renewing of my faith and well-being.
