It’s been 3 months since my last release of new work although it feels like yesterday. It’s been such a busy few months running workshops in New Zealand and Patagonia as well as exploring much more of the wilderness here in New Zealand, all whilst trying to embrace and cherish life with my loved ones.
The past 12-months I’ve really felt a big disconnect with social media. I’ve found myself much more absorbed with being outdoors and completely lacking the desire to try and keep up any presence online. The wilderness is an all consuming fire, something that puts life into perspective and needs to be felt firsthand, from within. Of course this isn’t always possible, so these images are another attempt at expressing the emotions that have overwhelmed me and the places that have moved me as of late. There has been many more but I’ll save them for next time.
More than ever I have appreciated and enjoyed hosting people on my workshops and connecting on a deeper level, as we’ve shared in some great occasions and been humbled by the sights we’ve beheld. Guiding and teaching is where I feel at home. If you’d like to join me in some of these places, please visit my workshop pages for 2018 and 2019.

Saludos desde Asunción, Paraguay!
As usual, your photography captures moods, emotions and the pristine beauty of nature – it inspires hope! My favorite is Coronation Peak — it brings up memories of my childhood in Vermont (USA) and the glitter of sun conjures hope! Your work is poetry in photographs. thank you for sharing your brilliant work!!!
Your photos are very well done. You have a great eye and know how to use the wide angle perspective to capture the power and emotion. Of every scene. NZ looks to have endless possibilities like here in the great lakes area of Michigan. Keep expanding your vision. NZ and Australia is the last corner of the world i want to explore photgraphically.
