Today I want to share my top 5 seascape photography tips. These seascape photography tips will help you in your creative process the next time you head out on the coast with your camera.
Seascapes have been at the core of my photography since I first picked up a camera. I used to live on the coast of Australia and the first 2 years of my photography was made up of at least 90% of coastal scenes. It took me years to realize what I was doing wrong.
I hope I can save you some of the disappointing shots I had to work through by sharing my top 5 seascape photography tips in this video below.
In just over 10 minutes i’ll share these tips with you – speed up the shutter, capture grey cloudy days, use tighter focal lengths, incorporate the landscape into your seascape image, capture the smaller scenes. I hope this video inspires you to head out and try applying some of these seascape photography tips on your own images.
