Milo
A tribute to my best bud. After 13 years of companionship, we said goodbye to our chocolate lab, Milo. I created this image almost 10 years ago but never processed or published it. Now, it serves as a fond memory of the many sunrises and adventures we shared together. Milo was by my side, every step of the way until the end. Thank you for your love and loyalty.

A place that isn’t new to me, nor is this composition. here’s not many locations that I’ll re-shoot, but Cathedral Rocks is my exception. I’ve captured vibrant sunrises here, lightning storms and ran many photography workshops by these shores. A rainbow was something that alluded me and after moving to New Zealand I figured the opportunity was gone. During a brief trip back to Australia I had a very short window for some photography and whilst keeping an eye on the weather one afternoon, I could see the elements begin to align. I committed to the drive down and had a quiet confidence that this was the moment. I sat by the shore for 10-minutes before the light prevailed out west and lit up the moist cloud over the sea.
