Mountain King

The name of this image not only represents my thoughts on the mighty Mt Fitzroy, but also reflects my thoughts toward my friend and landscape photography pioneer, Marc Adamus. Thank you for the years of inspiration behind this image and many others, brother. 
Mt Fitzroy in wind gusts over 100km/h, creating amazing wave action on the lake. Certainly a difficult image to capture, with the icy blast of water and sand to contend with but one of my fondest memories in this part of the world.
