Companion

A juvenile Kea intrigued by my presence. We shared the sunset together, alone in the glorious valley. For me, not much compares to aligning this endangered animal with its natural environment. A thrill and experience that can’t ever be replicated by AI or exposure blending. This is the real deal and a special moment I truly cherish. Although they’re always curious and far from shy, this Kea wasn’t too sporadic in its movement, allowing me to shoot a slower shutter speed in order to streak the water flow.
