Sometimes we can try and plan our photography, pursuing certain goals and visions but most often, it’s the unexpected encounters we have in nature which can stir the soul and provide immense inspiration and satisfaction. The challenge then, is just getting yourself out there, to be present, to be willing to look and listen, without forcing ideas on the landscape but instead letting the landscape speak to you.
I’ve put together these images across the past 6 months or so, but really, a good majority only came together within the past month. A difficult part of the creative process is the attempt at exceeding our past efforts but in attempting this, the goal can seem immensely high. Weather, light, vast distances and many other factors were able to persuade me from even trying at times. Once I shed myself of expectations, I was set free. I could see and hear again.
As always, thank you for stopping by. It’s a real privilege to share my latest photographs with you and I’m so thankful to do so.

I am 17 years old trying to pursue photography (mostly landscape/nature) and I’m always inspired by your videos. I’ve watched hundreds and hundreds of landscape videos and there’s lots of good ones out there but if I to pick the best; I would pick yours. So thank you for that and keep up the good work!
